The first challenge when remotely monitoring buildings is the data available on-site is not tagged in a way that can be used in the Cloud.

Making sense of the data requires enormous effort for the backend team to tag the data remotely. This adds time, and cost to the overall solution.

Deploying the monitoring equipment on-site requires a highly skilled engineer and considerable time at each location.

All the above coupled with the actual cost of the hardware infrastructure required on site, makes monitoring buildings very difficult today.

Your Cloud Platform gets the data from the Innon Connect™ Cloud using Haystack (ZINC).

All your Innon Connect™ Setup Boxes will automatically securely connect to the Innon Connect™ Cloud without the need for a VPN or complicated port forwarding rules.

Each Innon Connect™ Setup Box can wirelessly gather data from any LoRaWAN sensor and BACnet or Modbus devices via RS485 or IP.

Social housing on the spotlight

Social landlords have been urged by a watchdog to "act now" after tens of thousands of homes were found to have "notable" issues with damp and mould.

The scale of the issue

The Regulator of Social Housing (RSH) estimated 120,000 to 160,000 social homes in England had "notable" issues.

Of those, about 40,000 to 80,000 were thought to have serious issues.

Need clarification?

Where is my data being stored?

The system only stores the data locally on the Setup Box itself. This is ideal for when the Internet connectivity is temporarily down and no historical data gets lost for the duration of the Internet outage.

The Cloud Connector provides a secure tunnel back into the Setup Box for collecting the live data points as well as any stored historical data via the Cloud-to-Cloud API.

The Innon Connect™ Cloud does not store any historical data.

Can I change my Cloud-to-Cloud plan later?

You can start from any plan and upgrade to a higher plan at any point. You will be charged the new fee starting the next calendar month.

Do I require Cloud Connectivity for each Setup Box?

Each Setup Box requires an individual Cloud Connectivity subscription which is billed anually, this is separate from the Cloud-to-Cloud Plan. The Setup Box Cloud Connectivity allows each Setup Box to be remotely updated with regular security updates and system upgrades.

What happens to the Setup Box if I discontinue the plan?

The connection to the Setup Box will be temporarily lost while data will continue to be stored locally until the Cloud-to-Cloud Plan is renewed. The Setup Boxes are not designed to run in a stand-alone mode.
